Step 2: ProxiLaw Reviews Your Answers and Prepares the Application.
ProxiLaw's experienced legal document assistants will review your answers for consistency, completeness and other common mistakes. We then prepare your client's federal copyright application.
Step 3: You Receive Your Client's Documents and Final Instructions.
Send us a copy of the work your client would like to copyright. Upon receipt, we will file the completed application and deposit materials with the United States Copyright Office. Since a copyright registration is effective upon receipt by the Copyright Office, we will send you a signed proof of delivery, along with a cover letter for your signature which explains the copyright process to your client. We can even print this cover letter on your firm letterhead. The Copyright Office will issue a certificate of registration to you directly by mail, typically within 3-4 months.
